The Christmas tree sale is one of the oldest fundraisers of the Chippewa Area Lions. Started by PDG Virgil Scott over 40 years ago, it still continues today. One of the nice parts of this fundraiser is the generational customers. A large number of our customers came to the lot with their parents, now they are bringing their children to pick the perfect tree and to continue what has become a family tradition. Setting up the tree lot for another season.
October 19 and Novmeber 2, 2017 Bulletin. We had our first two students of the month. A Centennial pin was awarded to Lion Jim S. Now he joins Lions Smith and Verbosky as a recipient of that special pin.
The students are outstanding Seniors selected by the faculty at Blackhawk High School. Students of the Month 2009-2010. Students of the Month 2010-2011. Student of the Month September. Student Council, Academic Games. Student of the Month October.
The Lions routinely assist people within the community that need help. It can be some thing as small as providing an eye exam or something as major as building and installing a ramp so a person has access to their home.

Sunday, March 1, 2009. St Patricks Day Party. The Chippewa Area Lions hosts a party for the clients of the Beaver County Association for the Blind each year on a Saturday in March. This year the party was held March 14 at the Lighthouse in New Brighton. The party started at 700 PM and the clients of the BCAB and the Lighthouse had a good time.
