Creativity, Action and Service! Thursday, February 9, 2012. On the 2nd to the 5th of December 2011, 2 coaches and 10 girls including myself travelled to Mumbai, India for the SAISA Girls Basketball tournament. The two months leading up to that were intensive with 2 hour practises on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday but it definitely paid off as we came first place! It was there to ensure that we got that essential balance between our academics and extra-curriculars. For example, we donated bags of new toys for kids. I got aware of my leadership skill in this activity. The other challenge which I think was the most challenging was singing. I always loved singing but I never sung. So I finally got a chance to perform.
