Creativity, Action and Service! Thursday, February 9, 2012. On the 2nd to the 5th of December 2011, 2 coaches and 10 girls including myself travelled to Mumbai, India for the SAISA Girls Basketball tournament. The two months leading up to that were intensive with 2 hour practises on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday but it definitely paid off as we came first place! The coaches kept us collected and we strategized our plan for the semi-finals and hopefully, finals. Monday, November 21, 2011.
Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Personally, I think that CAS has been the aspect of the IB diploma that has allowed for most the individual and personal growth. It was there to ensure that we got that essential balance between our academics and extra-curriculars. I have attached below, my CAS reflection form, which presents my learning against each criterion.
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Increased awareness of their own strengths and areas of growth. Also, being a leader in RCCI made got me engaged in fund raising activities. For example, we donated bags of new toys for kids. I got aware of my leadership skill in this activity. The other challenge which I think was the most challenging was singing. I always loved singing but I never sung. So I finally got a chance to perform.
CAS Individual Student Completion Form. After weeks of planning, designing, and drawing, we were finally able to officially start painting, with which we planned and initiated.
