To this blog, and a wrap-up of my year of service as a YAV. May God give my friends strength for today and hope for tomorrow. From Thursday to Sunday this past weekend, I attended the YAV. Transition Retreat at Ghost Ranch. We had small groups where we could share our stories.
Saturday, June 30, 2012. Back in the fall, I started thinking about this year as being portioned off by significant events. At the time, those were Thanksgiving and Christmas, our trip to Nepal. And swore off ice skating for a while. We graduated from language school.
Sunday, July 15, 2012. FYII tried to make paragraphs in this following blog several times but it is not wanting to publish like that. I hope it still makes sense! Well hello again friends! I pray I can somehow articulate to them before I leave, how much I love and appreciate them. what am I thinking about in these last 2 weeks in Guatemala? Why did God bring me to Guatemala for a year? Did I selflessly seek to love God and my neighbor? .
