Today was my final class, and it was held in the Elluminate Live classroom. This is such a wonderful option, compared to the traditional classroom setting, as it allows me to participate from home, without spending the time and money to travel over an hour to campus. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. For the most part, it was interesting, but I would have rather been in class. I used the Notes app on my ITouch, and tried to email the notes to my account. Thursday, 21 July 2011. Today we looked at the final assignment-the writing process blogs. I was very impressed with the amount of information that has been collected. We keep finding new things to use. I had never heard of the Xtranormal Program before and thought of the possible uses. It would certainly make a presentation more fun and entertaining! I quite like watching the teacher instruct the kids on handwriting. Her teaching methods are amazing! Wednesday, 20 July 2011.
We were given the syllabus and informed of the assignments we are going to do to get familiar with the reading process and technology that can be used to help assist when this process breaks down. Control issue is a huge one. I did download Tiki Notes, as was suggested in class. I have been looking for something like this for a student who has extreme difficulty in communicating through writing.
