After 6 weeks of the Tinnie on the roof rack, we get to launch and check it all out on Lake Moondarra - actually the Dam water for Mt Isa.

Ayers Rock was named in 1873 by explorer William Gosse after the then Premier of S. Visitors are discouraged from climbing the 348 mtr high monolith, an alternative is the 10km base walk, we did both.
