Thursday, April 22, 2010. One more night, give me just one more night. This amazing experience is actually coming to and end and Im not so sure how I feel about that! I feel like Im leaving a part of me behind. I knew this trip would change me, but I had no idea just what I was in for. I think the best decision I ever made was signing up to come here. I will be teaching in Belize with a group of 17 students from UNCW. We will be there from March 17th through April 24 working in different local schools with a wide variety of students of all ages. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

One highlight from the school week was on Tuesday when I had my class do the Oh Deer simulation, but changed it to Oh Jaguar. We are discussing wildlife conservation in my class and this activity went along with that topic perfectly. After the simulation, students were able to identify factors necessary for animals to survive and reproduce.
