Friday, April 23, 2010. This time tomorrow, I will be in Miami, probably sleeping in some hotel or stressing out about all the insane things I have to get done in the two weeks before I graduate.
Thursday, April 29, 2010. Forest Hills and Isla Bonita. Monday, April 26, 2010. One highlight from the school week was on Tuesday when I had my class do the Oh Deer simulation, but changed it to Oh Jaguar. We are discussing wildlife conservation in my class and this activity went along with that topic perfectly. After the simulation, students were able to identify factors necessary for animals to survive and reproduce.
Thursday, April 22, 2010. Our students are all so. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Mandy is gone and that has been interesting but I did my best! I did a matching game with prefixes, suffixes, and base words that they really enjoyed. I have also been trying to get their energy out by having them shake all the wiggles out and do jumping jacks. Have so much energy but the exercises. I hope to keep in touch with them after we get home. Monday, April 19, 2010.
