Sunday, November 3, 2013. We had a pretty low key Halloween this year. However, the rains stopped about 4pm so we were able to go! Unfortunately, most of our neighborhood was banking on there not being any trick-or-treaters due to poor weather, so the number of houses that were passing out candy was slim. Picture of the kids with their cousins and friends right before they went out for the night.

Monday, April 28, 2014. A little titanic watercolor fun. Last year i made up a little game on the whim when we read the TITANIC story in our reading book. I wanted to find a way to engage the students more than just reading words off a page. The students loved it so much i decided to do it again the next year and jazz it up a bit. Boy did that cost me! Now all i hear from my 5th graders this year is,. They got to do so much more and their tickets are even laminated! I died because someone took my seat!CONTENT

Thursday, May 10, 2012. Waiting at the city Easter egg hunt. Sunday we found our Easter baskets in the morning, went to church, had an Easter egg hunt in our back yard, and then ate an amazing steak and shrimp dinner. My parents and a few of the kids stayed for a couple extra days and we took them out to an awesome prime rib dinner at the Barn Door. Thursday, April 19, 2012. She also likes helping mom.
