A year ago today I lost you. Though I had only known you for about a month I cherished you. I loved you with all that my heart knew how. I counted every day like it was a blessing because you were still alive inside of me. The day I lost you was the worst day of my life.
Barbara did an awesome job, and everything went well. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck twice and her clavicle was fractured on the way out, but it could have been much worse. Here are a few pre-delivery pictures of Barbara and Elliott.

This morning I was feeding and changing the babies as usual and Cohen had a poopy diaper that was full of little deer pebbles and as I was getting up and walking away to throw everything away I looked back and noticed Cohen playing with a little pebble that somehow had fallen out of the diaper!
