Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Well here I am at the end of 23 Things. It has been interesting in some aspects, but what has struck me the most is the unbelievable amount of time that is used to get serious about any of the many and varied social networking types of sites. Where do people find this kind of time? Of course, hanging out with young adults who still inhabit my house,these are the means by which social contact is maintained. At least I am somewhat aware of what is happening out there in the wor.

Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Tuesday, August 28, 2007. In taking the tour of Overdrive, I found the short tutorials very straightforward and helpful. I clicked on several of them to find out the steps for searching and downloading books. The actual downloading is optional, but if time permits I am going to try it. Overdrive has a lot of choices as well as a lot of variety. What did not surprise me was that I did find tags for both Britney Spears and Paris.
Monday, August 27, 2007. 1 What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey? I think my favorites were learning about Flickr and YouTube and Meez. I thoroughly enjoyed blogging, Library Thing, Wikis, Sandbox and Rollyo. 2 How has this program assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals? This program has made me really excited to keep on learning things and to not let myself be intimidated of the unknown. Yes, about how out-of-touch I was in regards to technology! Technology.
