Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Tuesday, August 28, 2007. In taking the tour of Overdrive, I found the short tutorials very straightforward and helpful. I clicked on several of them to find out the steps for searching and downloading books. The actual downloading is optional, but if time permits I am going to try it. Overdrive has a lot of choices as well as a lot of variety. What did not surprise me was that I did find tags for both Britney Spears and Paris.

Monday, August 27, 2007. 1 What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey? I think my favorites were learning about Flickr and YouTube and Meez. I thoroughly enjoyed blogging, Library Thing, Wikis, Sandbox and Rollyo. 2 How has this program assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals? This program has made me really excited to keep on learning things and to not let myself be intimidated of the unknown. Yes, about how out-of-touch I was in regards to technology! Technology.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007. One of the hardest things I find to do is to teach someone else how to do something. I would rather have someone else teach me how to do something. I would say that most of the things on this program were fun and easy to do, one or two were hard, but on the whole this was a great learning experience. I have never been to You Tube before it was quite an experience.

Friday, August 24, 2007. The End is Here! It has been a long journey, but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! As a roller coaster; definite highs with some activities that I loved, as well as some lows where I felt like I was wasting my time. I hope the library continues to do programs like this.
