Jacob was able to participate in the Hershey Track Meet for the first time this year. He was SO excited that for a few weeks before he participated, he got up at 6 am to run with Matt. He originally was going to do the 50m and 100m. I tried to get him to challenge himself and to my surprise, he signed up for the 200m and 400m. Here he is preparing to begin the 400m race. I could tell he was nervous.

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Salt Lake City via Train. It was a pretty good goal - attainable, but it pushed us! Needless to say, we met our goal. It dumped buckets of rain the day we rode the train down. We were actually pretty grateful we were on the train when we looked out the window at all of the cars creeping along in standing water on the freeway. We ate that night at the restaurant at the hotel. Coy decided to help her out. We got some swimming in at the hotel.
