Birds in the worlds newest country. Sunday, 2 September 2012. My last trip had to be along the Terekeka road, the most productive easily accessible areas near Juba. I only went a few kilometres up the road - I still had to pack for my flight. Some birds posed in the morning sunshine, including a Black Coucal and a Black-and-White Cuckoo. Friday, June 26, 2015. Montenegro 2 - The Longest Day. The challenge on 1 January is to kick off the New Year in style and ideally to see something juicily rare to set the tone for the coming tw. The view across some of the smaller settlement ponds at Ulcinj. Alas I forgot to check my camera battery, and it was dead, so for the whole day I was dependent on my phone.
For me, like many young women, birthdays and Christmas meant sparkly jewellery. A love of unique jewellery, and especially art glass, has insinuated itself into my very being. Whilst visiting the art hotspots of west coast America, I became fascinated by dichroic and fused glass. Learning to create fused glass pieces and sharing my passion for colour has informed design journey.
