This is a personal journal describing our holiday in Tanzania. We began with a climb up Mt Makarot; went on to safaris in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro before climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Tuesday, 8 May 2007. The hotel is less than 20 minutes from the airport and we checked in, finding our room with the help of very pleasant porters. The first room wasnt any good why? We had torches with us, which was lucky. This is the Aranyak restaurant! Here we could have a relatively peaceful meal with a beer, although there were people smoking. You cant have everything!
