This is a personal journal describing our holiday in Tanzania. We began with a climb up Mt Makarot; went on to safaris in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro before climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Sunday, 19 October 2008. We were woken early by bird calls close by. It sounded like geese or hornbills, so out we went. In our jammies to see if we could spot whatever, flying over.
