A journal of my sea kayak trips. Friday, April 06, 2018. I decided to go for a quick paddle while the power was out and I could not work! I had a fairly relaxed paddle out to the cattle point marker and back. On my way, I checked out the sunken sailboat, my mooring buoy and my C-dory in the yacht club. I saw courting mergansers as well as a bunch of Canada geese who looked like they were about to nest.

Sea Kayaking and Exploration. Sunday, July 7, 2013. Im a kayak geek and Im happy to admit it. So, when Paddlefest comes around every year, I get quite exited. So many boats to try and experiment with! This year happened to be on quite a windy day. It was over 15 knots, gusting up to 18. That is far from ideal for beginners to learn and try out boats, but it was great news for us. I really enjoyed paddling the 150, but the one thing that I hated were the foot pedals. They were pathetic! Next on my list .CONTENT
