Then 2 chrysalises already formed and our first newly hatched butterfly. The black chrysalis below is just a few hours from emerging into a butterfly. The green one on the left is about a week out. And also he was anything but shy.
What you never wanted to know. I am a web designer. i have never left the country. i am skilled at parallel parking. i will kick your butt at foosball. i can consume a can of black olives for a meal. i won the spelling bee in the 5th grade. Kinda like watching your odometer hit 100,000 miles.
I am pretty sure my kids are geniuses. And then in walks Jacob. Chris and I smirk and giggle. And then in walks Dylan with a jug of milk. And there were eggs in it. Big old smile on their faces. I see the ice cream in the frig. This was all so worth the mess.
Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Up, Up, and AWAY! This was a really fun weekend activity - we were surrounded by the most beautiful colors, and the balloons took off right over our heads. The kids loved it, and even agreed it was worth getting up early for on a Saturday! Emily and Robert Toussaint. if only I could live without running water, electricity, and heat.
