Environmental, Social and Cultural path for a better Country. After looking at the issues from the two parties, it was evident that industrial design graduates lack the understanding and knowledge of product lifecycle and the importance of all of its stages; and on the other side, the industry does not see the importance of industrial design because it is only perceived as an added value, not as a necessity to develop their products.
My major design project is a tool that helps creative professionals place positive behaviour into mass media. After much primary and secondary research, I have designed a set of issue cards accompanied by a visual outline, packaged as a tool called. The target audience for this tool includes professionals that write for television, stage and screen; advertising copywriters; directors; producers; art and set directors; and advertising and marketing executives.
The project used design thinking and social research combined to help solve the challenges facing local and independent charity shops. The aim was to help improve an aspect of the chosen shop with the intention of increasing sales by increasing community involvement. The main output is a tool kit which allows the results of the study to be rolled .
