Thursday, January 2, 2014. Blaze remembered from his birthday that he liked opening presents. So he was very helpful making sure all of them got opened as quickly as possible. Once a quick inventory of the presents was made he knew what he wanted to focus on first - the chocolate. Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Monday, September 8, 2014. We finally made our way down to DC. Since we knew that tomorrow was going to be bitter cold, we decided to walk the monuments today and save the museums for tomorrow. We even managed to beat the rain before it came. The kids enjoyed the walking and Adam and I enjoyed the monuments. Gabby insisted that she got a photo next to Miss Eleanor.

Ben was extremely excited to start Kindergarten. He had met with his Kindergarten teacher last week for a Kindergarten Assessment. He answered all of the questions correctly and impressed his teacher. It was good for him to meet his teacher and see his classroom. Amanda, of course, had to join in the first-day-of-school excitement. She found her little back pack, accessorized, and was ready to go.
