Im not a blogger, I just post a lot. Sunday, July 12. I meant to post something about how lovely May was, but then June came and now its July. Suffice it to say, May was lovely. One of the loveliest Mays ever. I basked in the beautiful spring flowers, watched WWII planes from the roof of DH, celebrated Momma P, got an insider tour of Nats stadium, and reveled in the nuclear-heated waters of Lake Anna. Painted, dyed, printed, collaged and stitched silks. But it hardly matters - these intriguing black birds are everywhere in the fields, in all seasons. They are noisy and bickering but their noise was far preferable to the noise of cars and the sighs and wailing of desperate motorists on the A1! Perhaps I imagined that - or maybe not! And the air was fresh and wonderful. When I got home I knew I had to capture this particular walk, and so here it is.
