Aquatic Revolution is a collection of articles, profiles, photos, and videos written and taken by me, Mack Emmons, a young avid aquarist. I bring this literature to my viewers in the hope to educate and enlighten beginners in the hobby and even provide aid to experienced hobbyists looking to explore a new branch of this wonderful and addictive hobby. This weeks news worthiness is that a number of new articles have been submitted. Along with a great number of new pictures being posted.

Aquatic Revolution - The meeki project. Saturday, August 16, 2008. The T meeki are growing at a phenomonal rate and have now more than doubled in size. They are all eating with vigour and love everything that touches the surface of their tank. I thinned out the group by removing 3 of them. The tank was getting crowded with all 8 of them in there. Thursday, September 4, 2008. Echinodorus amazonicus - Amazon Sword. Can reach heights over 20 inches tall and can reach widths of similar proportions. The Amazon Sword is a rather undemanding plant, require not much more than a nutrient rich substrate and low to medium light. This sword prefers soft water with tropical temperatures ranging from 72 to 85 degrees F. As long as its requirements are met it can easily grow into a magnificant plant.
