Friday, November 14, 2008. Little aggression was witnessed between the pair, but I found the male to be very defensive and aggressive towards other fish in the tank. Once spawning was complete, the female tended to the eggs while the male guarded the territory similar to the activity I witnessed before. I have found this species to be quite enjoyable, and the colors not often seen at first glance are quite beautiful. This species is a wonderful, and recomm.

Aquatic Revolution - The meeki project. Saturday, August 16, 2008. The T meeki are growing at a phenomonal rate and have now more than doubled in size. They are all eating with vigour and love everything that touches the surface of their tank. I thinned out the group by removing 3 of them. The tank was getting crowded with all 8 of them in there. Thursday, September 4, 2008. Echinodorus amazonicus - Amazon Sword. Can reach heights over 20 inches tall and can reach widths of similar proportions. The Amazon Sword is a rather undemanding plant, require not much more than a nutrient rich substrate and low to medium light. This sword prefers soft water with tropical temperatures ranging from 72 to 85 degrees F. As long as its requirements are met it can easily grow into a magnificant plant.
