I happen to live near Cape Porpoise Maine, so I made a little cottage for a Victorian era Maine fisherman, whom I called Amos Gooch. Some dollhouses have a storyline to go with them. This one is Amoss. Amos was a lobsterman, back in the 1880s. He lived in Cape Porpoise, Maine. Yes, there really is a Cape Porpoise, so named by John Smith, Pocahontas John Smith, that is.
