Wednesday, July 29, 2015. I am writing from the plane. We are about 2 hours into our flight home from Beijing. Why oh why does the land I love involve a plane ride? First 90 minutes the flight attendants had to sit. My supportive row of teens thought it was great fun. I had my head buried in my blanket chanting Jesus over and over. I tried to remind myself it was just very similar to the van ride through the mountains on the dirt roads. The driver thought it was funny to hear us squeal.
