I was really nervous about conducting the interviews but found that this was a more personal way of recording a response and allowed me to develop the questions. Both hosts of the painting responded more favourably at the end of the day than they did at the beginning and again they found personal aspects which they could relat e to in the image. The looser drawings - moving, more gestural, living. Development of collage and photographs into painting. Incorporation of animals to add another dimension but not in their current form. Paint on unprimed canvas - although some of the twinned compositions work. Early paintings which seem overly static.

Tuesday, 29 November 2011. Alice in Wonderland - Tate Liverpool. A couple of weekends ago I went up to Liverpool to visit the Tates Alice in Wonderland exhibition. These are some elements which I found interesting and may have an impact on my practice. Liliana Porters piece collage of rabbit hole ephemera indicates a jumbled and fractured story or pieces of a broken mirror. Второй день путешествия мы решились на самый сложный путь, поездку к пляжу Баунти, которой располагался от нас в 300км из них 120 км по очень горной дороге. Через 200 км пути, Кирюша захотел в туалет, и совершил свой подвиг на высоте 1500м над уровнем моря. Далее дорога стала совсем трудной. На пляже достаточно много людей, и почти все русскоговорящие, и чуток итальяно.
