Saturday, November 27, 2010. E calligraphy work, we. Were really surprised at how hard Chinese calligraphy could be. The traditional writings where we can find almost everywhere in China was not an easy skill to master. We were impressed at the fact that the master was. Able to complete a whole piece of calligraphy work in just a few minutes. To a scale of 0 to 10 we felt like we have mastered at least a 5.

Friday, November 12, 2010. Among all the well-known Yunnan cakes, Eight Treasure of Yunnan comes the first. It is packed into a pieces of eight. Consisting of one hard-skin cake, a ham stuffed moon part, two crispy white parts stuffed with puree and another two stuffed with peanuts, mushroom and rutabaga. Cheese piece is made from yogurt and fresh cow milk. Through boiling it will turn into a fan-like shape. It can be oil fried or baked for eating.
