Wednesday, July 5, 2017. They are spaced about 20 inches apart in two rows. Two seed to each mound. Not all the plants made it but I do have at least one plant of each variety. I started the seeds in the bed in mid May. Next year I will start in April, weather permitting. So far the Sun Jewel is doing the best with about 8 melons. Melon bed on the left.

It is amazing how easy it is to stop posting. Next my job just overwhelmed me, the next thing I knew my garden was an overgrown wreck and it was all we could do to give the animals the attention they deserved. Soon I was visiting all my old haunts and low and behold I was happy! I ate some yesterday and again this morning with breakfast, they were delicious.
