In March of 1998, Lena and her daughter Soleil took the defacto original Two Gringas trip to southern Belize to peer at the living Maya. In 2003 Lena and Denise drove a somewhat modified Toyota Tercel from near Seattle, Washington, USA to near Dangriga in southern Belize, Central America.
