In 2003 Lena and Denise drove a somewhat modified Toyota Tercel from near Seattle, Washington, USA to near Dangriga in southern Belize, Central America. This newly revised, full-photo version is published here for the first time. For those interested, the pseudo-realtime original Belize Forum travelogue.

This was the second drive Denise and Lena made from Washington State to Belize. There is the original but incomplete pseudo-realtime travelogue on the forum. Immediately after the escapade Lena lost touch with Kathy, whose memory, photos and permission is necessary to develop a proper travelogue of this trip. There have been changes in our circumstances, both in the USA and in Belize, and the future in both locations is uncertain, to say the least.
