It covers the period 12 July to 22 July, and the fighting in western Spain between Fifth French Army and the British. It has been done as a separate blog in order to keep all of the relevant reports together and to avoid making the main campaign blog too long and complicated. We started the campaign on 20 August 2010.
Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Link to 1814 Campaign in France. This is the last of the mini campaigns fought as part of the overall 1813 campaign. The next campaign will be set in France in 1814. It is loosely based on the historical campaign. The major difference is that all six campaign areas will be fought at the same time. Saturday, August 8, 2015. Amendment to Rule 04 - Map and Movement. I have reduced the cavalry movement rate to 4 squares on road, 3 squares off road and 1 square in difficult terrain. The cavalry will not be allowed to be more than one square from their corps. This is mainly to avoid the problems I have encountered when setting up a wargame to fight a campaign battle.
