Saturday, August 8, 2015. Amendment to Rule 04 - Map and Movement. I have reduced the cavalry movement rate to 4 squares on road, 3 squares off road and 1 square in difficult terrain. The cavalry will not be allowed to be more than one square from their corps. This is mainly to avoid the problems I have encountered when setting up a wargame to fight a campaign battle. All Spanish start on the table. 16 Italian corps arrive start of move 1. Italians have moved behind woods to deploy opposite valley.
Sunday, May 10, 2015. This was a fictional campaign set in 1814. The objective was to produce interesting battles for us to wargame. It was designed to use all of our model soldiers and scenery on our 6x6 foot wargames table. The campaign was designed in six areas, each with one allied and one French army. Prussian army objective was Brussels. Russian army objective was Luxembourg. Austrian army objective was Nancy. British army objective was Bayonne.
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. By the time Bonaparte arrives at Lonato 5. Division are already in rout, and 4. Division retreating to cover them. Wurmster has already entered Lonato. Bonaparte orders both divisions to continue their retreat to Brescia. He sends orders to 3. Divisions to abandon the siege of Mantua and retreat to Brescia.
