Friday, August 26, 2016. Today was a good day. Today I was particularly thankful I was able to get up early, make lunches, send the kids out the door, clean a few bathrooms, go to lunch with my husband, pick a sick daughter up early from school, get to soccer practice. Thankful because a year ago today I was in the hospital having a surgery that I did not want to have. This post is about my surgery and recovery. Wednesday August 26, 2015. Monday, December 21, 2009. Our oldest son just got baptised. Boy do I feel old! He was really nervous and had to breathe in and out ALOT of times! It was cute. We are so proud of him! I wish that I would have been more with it and have gotten a picture of all the people that came to support Braxton and his big day! He felt so good that so many people came to see him. Friday, July 31, 2015. Saturday we made the trip home. When we got home we had to head to the fair to show the kids their items they entered. Brittany worked hard on sewing a skirt with very little help from me. And Jacob hand sewed a tooth pillow. So as mentioned he lost a tooth. But he did not want to the tooth fairy to come until he had his pillow. The tooth pillow did not come back until Monday. We help onto his tooth for 5 days! Portland Day 5 -7.

Saturday, July 4, 2015. This 4th of July was spent with our friends from Church. Our life group family used to be part of a larger group which branched off to for separate groups, we call ourselves a Colony when all together. This was a Colony gathering and boy did it make for some great fun! I hope you were able to share time with friends or family and celebrate our great country! Did someone say mortars? After a rough first engagement session in Spokane we were very lucky to have Mandie with Captured Moments squeeze us in for a session while we were in Boise last week doing wedding planning. I am absolutely THRILLED with the outcome.
