That is too bad that you cant be best friends with your husband. I think the two of you should work towards that if you want to make it another 6 years. What do you need to tell him? That you are pregnant again? No, not pregnant. I am sure hed be pleased now if that happened. I had imagined that having defused the pregnancy issue - and with the end of the long-distance phase of our relationship - we were out of the woods - so to speak.
