Friday, October 22, 2010. My life has completely changed within these past two months. So sorry for the delay.
A chronicle of my Peace Corps odyssey in Guinea and Mali, West Africa from application to interview to nomination to invitation to service to evacuation to transfer and beyond! There was an error in this gadget. Since the last time, I have. Shortly after my parents left from their visit, I got consolidated for my second time during my Peace Corps service. Over the past few months, I have made the most of it. I took the opportunity to visit friends in their sites, help out with their projects or learn more about what they are doing, took a brief trip to Niger and walked among Giraffes. And over the past week, biked 221 miles. Parents Visit, I See Hippos.
Sunday, June 7, 2009. Now we can begin working! An island off the coast of Guinea. Some of the group treated ourselves to a trip following our training. For me, I have a delicious mango whenever I fancy one, as my family has a number of grafted mango trees in their front yard. A waterfall near my city.
