Tuesday, June 30, 2015. First Day of School. My baby attended her first day of Playgroup today. Well, it wasnt as smooth sailing as I thought it would be. I did not bothered to prep her much for today because I thought she will do just fine since she has been attending My Gym since she was 6 months - thats more than half her life so far! Thursday, February 9, 2012. Windows Experience Index fail to assess disk performance. I bought a Dell XPS laptop last May and installed Windows 7 on it. Surprisingly it would not compute, kept failing at the last step doing disk assessment, saying something about data being invalid. As soon as I point these two env vars to the actual directories on that different partition, WEI started to work.
Who can you trust your data with? Even Windows is no good. Because both disks were on sale so I thought what the heck, I will just use these two and will be set for a while now. After about 3 months, both drives failed almost simultaneously! I started to hear some scratchy noises, and then all of a sudden, the very last partition on each disk would show up as RAW! Again, I wish. So how the heck did the previous but failed 3TB disk was recognized as being 3TB just fine but this one would not.
