Year 6 - Class 6M 2011 12. Friday, 16 December 2011. Year 6 have been given projects on their classes countries - 6M is Poland, 6G is Great Britain and 6F is Italy. They had to research each country and post their findings in books - some of us interviewed residents from those countries who now live in England, and also found interesting facts and maps. We had a great day of art activities with Mrs Turner last Thursday. We created a door hanging for our classroom in Leeds United colours! Mrs Robinson was happy about this when she saw it. There was even a large rainbow cake created during the week and everyone in school was able to have a small slice of it - delicious! Look what we did! Time for the blue .
Year 2 Web Pages Gelli Primary. Wednesday, 26 October 2011. Thanks to all the parents who turned up at our recent parents evening. I hope that the information given will help you support your children during their time in Year 2. I have now given all parents a copy of all the information given out on the evening. The yr1 and yr2 classes went to Ġgantija Temples. There we learnt that the Ġgantija Temple was a place for worship. We learnt how they managed to carry the big slabs of stone by using spherical rocks. At the end of the visit we had the opportunity to mould bowls by using plasticine and then decorate them with shells and sticks. Press on the photo to see more.
