I hear about change and the desire for it all the time. The way things have been done for so long is highly under rated. We do a damn fine job people and those of you who want change may consider yourselves visionaries. But be warned, when you step up to challenge age old traditions we will cling to them with all our logic and reason. Every day I seem to wake up in the same world.

A personal journal regarding 2D Fighting Games. Unlike with other forms of media though, the players of fighting games are experiencing the story as it unfolds, so poorly designed mechanics can not only lead to simple disappointment but also frustration and possibly community-wide disinterest in the game itself. What I hope to see even more of in the futu.
