Monday, August 8, 2011. What a summer it has been! An early vacation was a perfect plan because I doubt we would have been able to take it later. I have to resist the urge to lay down on the sun porch and just listen to the summer sounds and doze off, maybe with a kitty on my tummy.

Sunday, 21 June 2015. A river walk and peek at my garden. Happy First Day of Summer! Actually we have been having summer weather for well over a month now so my head is a bit confused! The fantastic weather makes anything and everything beautiful. Last Sunday morning, we went for an short walk along the river. Come and have a look. It was such a lovely time of the morning.
