Because of the adnoidectomy she had to get an IV as well. She was just precious but looked rough! Lucy was able to go into surgery with her and had an id bracelet and all. Saturday, June 26, 2010. A second piece in the stoneware slip series in a thick waterfall glaze. The waterfall glaze does accentuate this technique for sure. Honestly this bowl was a text of a thick stonemware slip I mixed up. I usually use a white porcelain slip to add texture, draw, and carve on. why not stoneware? The result was nice and wanting some of these pieces to have a rich dark clay body rather then white this solved my problem. Sunday, June 20, 2010.
