Sunday, October 27, 2013. On October 8th I was at work eating my lunch and got a text from Jamey. Wreaked havoc on my heart. He said he thought we could get into the ultrasound lab and try and find the sex of our baby in only 2. 5 hours! I got off work early, he got off work early, and we made it happen. Our baby was more accommodating than either of us anticipated and I hardly had the camera ready when Jamey was telling me the sex. Sunday, October 20, 2013.

Doubling the family in one fell swoop. Kadri Reads a Book to Herself. One of the best sights ever. Kadri woke up this morning and grabbed a book, like she often does. So proud of our little reader. Christmas this year was very stressful, to the point of exhaustion. Eventually I began to feel relaxed and enjoyed the season. First what I did right. A week or two before I think. I was afraid of decorating too soon for fear that I would be sick of the décor before the holiday came. It was just nice to have the Christmas decorations up all through the season.
