There are many things that we miss about Washington, but at the top of that list are our friends Katie, Jude, Ethan and Greyson. We said a tearful goodbye to them at the end of July, and it had felt like an eternity had passed since then when their minivan arrived in our driveway late February.

A birth certificate shows that we were born. A death certificate shows that we died. Pictures show that we lived. September 23, 2011 by Lisa. I think today is the last day of Summer, so I figured it was a good day to post our Summer vacation pictures. We went to sunny and hot AZ as usual a few weeks ago and it was so much fun! August 11, 2011. A cheerful enjoyment of life. Today is an anniversary, of sorts, for me. In 1999 gosh, that seems like a long time ago! I was in an armed robbery. The Good Lord sheltered me and protected me. I am lucky, thankful, and blessed. If I dont remember every day of the year, at least today I do remember to cherish this life.
