Wednesday, May 27, 2009. 3 were on the Nene Washes, especially the High Wash. 2 were at Ferry Meadows. A trip of 10 was near Turves. Several were seen including N at Ferry Meadows. A female was at Blackbush and a male was near Turves. One was at Maxey pits. Other scarce waders included Spotted Redshank, Wood Sandpipers, Whimbrel, Curlew and Turnstones. Flew NW over Peterborough on 15. Summer-plumaged bird at Ferry Meadows.

I must admit I have been pretty useless at updating this blog and keeping up with my birding exploits, so I have decided to move. Sunday, 8 February 2009. I was about to leave the area to move onto Keyhaven, when I had a hunch to go back to Badminston and view the pig field from a different angle. And what a relief! Parking at Fishtail Lag.
Buntes Bloggen Für Schönes Wetter. In der Techniktagebuchredaktion machte André Spiegel gestern auf einen Mashable-Artikel. Aus einer alten CD-Hülle hatte dort jemand eine kleine Pyramide gebastelt. Die Seitenflächen bestehen aus vier gleichschenkligen Trapezen, lange Kante 6 cm, kurze Kante 1 cm, Höhe 3,5 cm. Stellt man dieses Trapez auf ein Smartphone, auf dem gerade ein entsprechendes Video. Abgespielt wird, sieht das toll aus! Nicht erreich.
