One of my photographs is featured in the new book published by Alaska Geographic. Jennifer and I decided to take the day off and head 45 miles south of Juneau to one of our favorite places, Tracy Arm Fjord.

Please look at this project. I feel that this is a much needed item that fire departments across the country can use for the safety of the firefighter. Help fund it in any way that you can. Because of work scheduling issues at this time I am unable to capture images of any events. I am working on being able to be at selected events in the future.

Friday, August 14, 2015. By 4am I was back up and headed back out for sunrise. The stars were already fading and a few clouds were already picking up very early light. I suppose I should mention that it was July and I was bundled up with a fleece top as well as my down jacket, hat and gloves. Quite the change from July in Texas. Friday, August 7, 2015.
