Sunday, September 24, 2006. WHS 0 - 4 Smithhills. On Friday afternoon the year 9 boys football team suffered a rare defeat to Smithhills High School. The game was a close affair in the first half with WHS playing much of the better football but not being able to keep their composure in the final third of the field and finish their chances. WHS pupils take part in a Mock Trial competition. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. On Saturday 24th June, the Westhoughton team - the first team ever from the Bolton heats - took part in the National Final of the Magistrates Mock Trial Competition. They did not simply take part, they were marvellous! Trafford Magistrates Court provided a wonderful sense of ceremony to the day.
