1945 - The Year When a lot happened. I cannot remember how we spent our first Christmas on Hopewell but the church must have been important. We were members of the Salem Methodist Church and most of our neighbours were Methodists. My mother, Thelma and Bertha were busy with confirmation classes in the Free State and this had to be discontinued when we moved. I can remember when they attended classes at the home of Aunty Joe Payne. Les started school in July but soon caught up.
DARE TO DREAM - A New Publication. Life is an odd mixture of beginnings and endings. We cogitate, deliberate, ruminate, investigate and contemplate, but the one thing we never do is retire. During the ensuing years I wrote three full-length novels. What had worked for me before was no longer acceptable for them.

Saturday, 9 April 2011. The Beach at Beach View, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. There are thousands of smoothed pebbles on the beach at Beach View. We went for a drive last Sunday and stopped there for Vanessa to find the perfecly round ones that she wants to paint. Keep an eye on her Blog and you will be surprized. Millions of smooth stones. It was High Tide and the pebbles in the water were colourful. Harvey was rock hopping. A big piece of marble embedded in the larva rocks. Sunday, 27 March 2011.CONTENT

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Our reunion was a HUGE success! We hope everyone enjoyed being a part of it. The tailgate party Friday night was a great opportunity to see families and party at the Princess Saturday was a great chance to catch up and enjoy good food and music.
