Tuesday, July 21, 2009. A few months ago I had the pleasure of spending the day on Mt. My sons teacher was taking the kids into the upper half of Ape Caves. It was a gorgeous day on the mountain! I wonder how long it will be before she brings them out to play. Last weekend we saw a redwing blackbird attacking this red-tailed hawk. It was almost sitting on top of him. Or the white trillium. Its also called the white wake-robin I like this one best from a myth that its spring emergence wakes red-breasted birds into raptures of song. I found a great article.
