The Season is in Full Swing. Welcome FUYE and FUZH! First Solo Flight Of the Year. Friday, March 20, 2009. The Season is in Full Swing. The damn broke and a herd of restless glider pilots flooded the field. Many were able to get in their spring check flight. And some also did their spring tow checks. The weather gods are smiling on us so far, take advantage of it. Come on out and enjoy some flying. The field is dry, the tow pilots willing and the instructors eager.

Sosiaalisen webin kurssi alkaa osaltani olla loppusuoralla, se on kaiken kaikkiaan ollut oikein antoisa ja opettavainen kurssi. Ns viestinnän alan sanakirjan, josta voi tarvittaessa tarkistaa mietityttäviä käsitteitä ja termejä. Koitimme kurssin teeman mukaisesti etsiä myös sosiaalista webbiä koskevia käsitteitä, esim. virtuaalitiimit, hajautetut tiimit ja Global Village. Olen tyytyväinen, että valitsimme blogin sijasta wik.
Toteutimme ryhmäni kanssa htkp200-kurssin projektityönä Taikupedia-nimisen wikiympäristön, jonka on tarkoitus auttaa Taiteiden ja kulttuurin tutkimuksen laitoksen opiskelijoita informatiivisella sisällöllään. Projektityö suhteessa luennolla käsiteltyihin asioihin. Luennolla käsiteltiin kurssin alkuvaiheessa blogeja ja wikejä sekä open access -käsitettä. Wikin idea sisäistyi mielestäni projektissa hyvin.
Nyt on kurssi virallisesti ohitse ja tässä olisi vielä viimeisenä blogitekstinä henkilökohtainen raportti projektista. Projektimme lähti ehkä hieman hitaasti liikkeelle, kun ensin piti koettaa löytää jokin aihe projektille. Nimittäin kun aiheen saa itse valita aivan vapaasti, sen keksiminen on todella vaikeaa. Itse olisin ehkä kaivannut selkeämpiä vaatimuksia tai välietappeja. Sillä jos annetaan liian vapaat kädet, tuntuu että on todella vaikea saada mitään aikaan.
