The musings of a southern naturalist up north. Sunday, 2 August 2015. Have been back 10 days now and just perusing the photographs again and picking out a few that may be of interest. The organised boat trip to see the turtles was followed shortly after by hiring a small powered craft which we used to explore Turtle Island and the sea-cliffs around Keri.
On Par Beach this evening there were 5 Whimbrel, 10, Dunlin, 6 Ringed Plover, 1 Sanderling and about 30 Swift over the pool. Saturday, 11 May 2013. I have just spent a few days away in London and East Anglia visiting relatives but the day I was allowed to spend at Minsmere produced these pictures. And finally a Canary!
