Public Square

Thursday, November 27, 2008. Main street and Market street extended through the Public Square and thus divided the Square into four parts. The streets around the four sides of the Square were taken up mainly by business buildings, but to some extent by residences. These buildings were generally of frame, two stories high, and this was true of the great majority of the buildings in the town, brick buildings being an exception. Subscribe to Posts Atom.
